Talk the Talk delivered ‘talk about the future’ session to our Sixth Formers on Wednesday 7th July.

Some of our students have provided feedback on the session.

“The event helped to build my confidence in presenting to a large group of people as I developed skills on how to engage an audience with things such as tone of voice, body language and posture. Gaining constructive criticism after a mock interview was very beneficial to me going forward into post-Sixth Form life as I have learned that everything counts when attending an interview.”

“We had the privilege of having an all-day workshop hosted by the TalkTheTalk charity last week. The instructors worked well with students to enhance their communication skills and allow students to better understand what interviewers are looking for, which was well-timed as University interviews are on the horizon and students are starting to apply for part-time jobs.”

“The ‘Talk the Talk’ event was not only entertaining but an incredibly beneficial insight into how students can develop their communication skills and their ability to project their profitable attributes to future employers and universities. The workshop was an engaging, fun and valuable experience; by the end of the session, I had left feeling extremely confident for future interviews, knowing how to craft a story when speaking and being able to clearly put across my thoughts and opinions in an effective and concise manner.”
