We take attendance very seriously at Bluecoat Sixth Form as we know that there is a direct correlation between good attendance and a student’s ability to reach their potential.
This is why we track your attendance hourly, daily, weekly and half termly, termly and annually and why we do our best to chase up every missed lesson.
Your success matters to us and we want you to reach your potential and prepare for the future. Our approach to attendance means that we include parents/guardians/carers from the outset if a student is not meeting our expectations.
Remember, your commitment to your studies is reflected in your punctuality and attendance; it speaks volumes about your attitude to learning and how determined you are to succeed.
