Bluecoat Sixth Form Business students were tasked with creating a visual merchandising display for our Culture Day celebrations in the sixth form. Students showcased the diversity of cultures represented in our sixth form through features such as food, flags, and clothing from different cultures. The aim was to foster appreciation for our differences and celebrate the myriad of different cultures.
“We believed that this event provided an opportunity to educate students who may not have been familiar with certain cultures, such as those from countries like Ivory Coast and South Africa, which may have been viewed as minorities in our sixth form. Through this event, we hoped to create an inclusive environment that promoted the values of ‘Faith, Family, Hope, and Respect’ that were important to our school.” – Salama, Year 13 Business student
